Governance

The Paris & District Chamber of Commerce is governed by a board of directors consisting of a president, vice-president, past president, treasurer, and directors. Directors are elected by the membership at the AGM to serve a minimum term of one year. Directors may choose to take part in the board's standing committees. Executive (president, vice president, treasurer) are elected by the board following the AGM.

If you are a member in good standing of the Chamber and are interested in becoming a director or a member of a standing committee, you are invited to put your name forward to the committee chair or directly to the board.

Chamber members are encouraged to bring forward issues of concern or interest by contacting the appropriate committe chair, the coordinator, or one of the directors.

The County of Brant Chamber of Commerce has stood as a cornerstone institution and the leading voice for the local business community. Over its history, the Chamber has united business and community leaders to champion policies at every level of government that promote the social and economic prosperity of the County of Brant.​​

Advocacy Committee 

The Advocacy Committee identifies issues that are important to the local business community and works to develop initiatives to present to political decision-makers, drawing on the support and advice of the highly-respected Ontario and Canadian Chambers of Commerce.
